Donate to the Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra
The Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra has been a valued member of our region's art music culture, performing a regular concert series in complement to the Springfield Symphony, bringing more than 13 guest artists to our city, and presenting Springfield premieres of works such as Aram Khachaturian's Symphony #3, John Mackey's Percussion Concerto, and Carlyle Sharpe's Proud Music of the Storm.
The Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra is comprised more than 100 talented students, professionals, and enthusiasts – providing students a rare and valuable opportunity to perform alongside faculty and professionals in the field. The nationally recognized SDCO presents a yearly season of orchestral masterworks. The orchestra also sponsors the Charles R. Hall Young Artists Competition, providing outstanding regional high school students the opportunity to perform a concerto with orchestra.
Beyond supporting the ongoing operations of the orchestra, funds donated to the SDCO also support the Department of Music as a whole by enabling the purchase of basic equipment, instruments, and other items critical to all of our students.
We are truly grateful for your support these last ten seasons and know that every donation – no matter the amount – makes an impact for Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra.
