Raymond Aton Endowed Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established through memorial gifts upon Raymond Aton's death. Ray graduated Drury in 1937 with a major in English. Ray served as a member of the Drury Board of Trustees from 1970 to 1993. His wife, Nancy Jones Aton, also attended Drury as a member of the class of 1946.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • A female from a public high school in Springfield, MO
  • Above average in their GPA and ACT
  • Student who needs financial aid

Virginia C. Bussey Endowed Breech Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Virginia Cox Bussey. Virginia graduated from Drury in 1955 with a major in business administration and in 1967 she received her MBA from Drury. Virginia also served as a member of the Drury Board of Trustees from 1998 to 2006.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Senior woman in the Breech School of Business

Evelina P. Daggett Women's Auxiliary Endowed Scholarship

The Daggett scholarship was first awarded in 1951.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • It needs to be awarded to a young woman with leadership qualities

Drury Women's Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Herbert White in honor of his daughter, Mrs. Margery Graves. Mrs. Graves graduated from Drury in 1953 with a major in English.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • For women only

Margaret Masters Owen Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Margaret Masters Owen. Margaret graduated Drury in 1934. She was also a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Women's basketball student for room & board

Pamela Sue Russell Endowed Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Russell in memory of their daughter, Pamela. Pamela graduated from Drury in 1977 with a major in sociology.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • First preference: female graduate of Bolivar, MO High School
  • Second preference: female graduate of another Polk County, MO High School
  • Third preference: to any other deserving student
  • 4 Year Scholarship

Smith-Tillman Endowed History Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1992 by memorial donations and Charles Tillman, for his wife, Mary Betty Smith Tillman and Gladys Smith. Mary graduated from Drury in 1944 with a major in history.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Female majoring in history

Drury Women's Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Herbert White in honor of his daughter, Mrs. Margery Graves. Mrs. Graves graduated from Drury in 1953 with a major in English.
Restrictions for the scholarship:
