Judge Paul and Dorothy Barrett Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Judge Paul and Dorothy Barrett. Dorothy attended both Southwest Missouri State College and Drury. After receiving the necessary degrees, she taught in many areas throughout Missouri. Paul graduated from Drury in 1924 with majors in history and economics. He went on to become a judge.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Students from Christian County, Missouri, or descendants of the Barrett family.

Dale and David Creach Endowed Scholarship

Dale graduated in 1963 from Drury with a major in business administration. David graduated in 1975 from Drury with a major in business administration.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • First priority, member of the Creach Family, if none use Drury scholarship guidelines

Monta Creach Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Ormal, David, and Dale Creach in honor of Monta Creach, wife and parent of the donors. The family wanted to provide a scholarship in which they could help advance the field of medical science.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Award to entering freshman & retain for duration of studies providing pre-med major is not changed & a 3.0 GPA is maintained
  • Creach descendant can be awarded if attending without being a pre-med major

Ormal Creach Camdenton Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Ormal Creach. Ormal graduated from Camdenton, MO High School and wanted to make an education at Drury available to graduates of Camdenton. Ormal was a member of the Drury Board of Trustees from 1977 to 1996.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Highest ranking student from the graduating Camdenton, MO High School class or a Creach descendant

Horace Haseltine Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Arthur Haseltine, Mark Haseltine and Mary Haseltine McQueary in honor of their father, Horace Haseltine. All of the siblings graduated from Drury.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • First preference to heirs of Horace Haseltine
  • If not, can be used for any other student attending Drury

Semper Fidelis Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Bill Cantrell, Drury class of 1942.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Descendants of alumni or trustees of Drury University who have been in the Navy or Marines

A. Ronald and Maxine Stewart Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Ronald and Maxine Stewart. Ronald graduated from Drury in 1935 with majors in history and economics.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • First choice given to descendants of A. Ronald & Maxine Stewart or Robert Wendell Stewart, can be awarded to others if no family members apply.
  • Freshman students continuing for 4 or 5 years
  • 2.75 GPA for freshman year and 3.0 GPA thereafter

Drury Alumni Children's Endowed Scholarship

The Drury Alumni Children's Scholarship was established by the Alumni Council in 1983.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • A child, grandchild, or stepchildren of Drury alumni are eligible

Frisco Endowed Scholarship

This fund was established by the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad Co.
Restrictions for the scholarship:

  • Preference given to: sons or daughters of Frisco employees
  • If none, students that reside in the states that Frisco serve
