Cheryl Bradshaw, Records Coordinator for Alumni and Development.
Cheryl graduated from Ozarks Technical Community College in 2004 with an associate degree in Computer Information Technology and then again in 2005 with her degree in Business & Marketing. She is currently a student at Drury working on her Bachelor’s degree. Since starting at Drury in 2005, Cheryl has not only had the privilege of working with Drury alumni but has also been able to support the development office.

Debra Course, Manager - Gift Stewardship.
Debra is a Springfield native who began working for Susan Kirby in May 2002 beginning as an assistant and then moving into the position of events manager. Debra brings a wealth of business experiences from the Springfield community, having worked for local companies and organizations such as Regional Girls’ Shelter and the Springfield Symphony. In 2004 Debra moved to the gifts area where she is responsible for identification, recording, acknowledging, and reporting on all incoming donations. Darla Harmon '08, Director of Alumni and Development.
Darla is a Drury alumna of the class of 1992 and earned her Master of Arts in Communication from Drury in 2008. Since becoming a member of the Alumni and Development team in 2004, Darla has helped secure resources through corporate and foundation grants. She is expanding her role to include planned giving. Darla is also the liaison for the art and art history, interdisciplinary studies, philosophy and religion, and theater departments.

Chris Ijames ’09, Assistant Director of Community Outreach
Chris graduated from Drury in 2009 with a degree in Criminology. He played four years for the Drury basketball team during that time. For the last two years, Chris has been working as a Graduate Assistant in the Alumni and Development office at Drury. He will complete his Master’s Degree in Education in the fall of 2012.

Susan Kirby '70, Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations
Susan graduated from Drury in 1970 with a major in History. While at Drury, she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Susan started working at Drury in 1984 as Director of Alumni Relations and happily served in that position for 25 years. She began her new position in 2009 and works with individual donors and the stewardship programs for the University. Susan additionally serves as development liaison to the Drury Women’s Auxiliary, the department of Music, the School of Education, and the International Studies program. She and is a member of the Association for Donor Relations Professionals and the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

Teresa Skidmore, Director of Donor Research and Information Systems.
Teresa has served Drury University since September, 2004, managing the alumni and donor database and other information systems used by the department. She brings the experience of 10 years at Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) World Headquarters, working with colleges and universities as well as with the fundraising arm of the organization. In her current position, Teresa provides training and technical support to departmental information systems users, performs prospect research and supplies alumni and donor information as needed by the Drury community.

Meleah Spencer '97, Director of Alumni and Development
Meleah is a 1997 Drury graduate and returned to her alma mater in July 2007 after a 10 year career in business development in Las Vegas and southern California. She works closely with Drury alumni and friends in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Texas and the Western states. She also manages The Drury Fund and serves as the Alumni and Development liaison for biology, chemistry, physics, and exercise and sports science departments. Meleah enjoys working with Drury’s Greek community where she serves on the Panhellenic Alumnae Board. She is the chapter advisor for Pi Beta Phi and is a member of their Alumnae Advisory Council.

Doris Weber, Executive Officer Assistant of Alumni and Development.
Doris Weber started her employment at Drury University in 1981 for the Alumni & Development Office while both of her daughters were attending school here. She was the Gifts Coordinator. Then in June of 2005 she was promoted to Executive Officer Assistant to the Vice President. Doris is in charge of the department budget, purchases for the office, keeps the department calendar, and assists the Vice President of Alumni and Development and the six Directors when and where she is needed.
